Desk Plan — House Delta — 2026-10-09

Briefing reference: /Users/dadbot/Desktop/ClaudeBod/projects/dadbrain/Analysis/briefings/2026-10-09-pm.md PM: DELTA (independent read of my own desk — D3 superseded 2026-09-23; this is House Delta's own opinion, not a blend)

Regime Watch

data-infra/regime/current.json (read 2026-10-09, status: ok): as_of 2026-09-22 — SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). The file lags the live tape by twelve sessions (09-23, 09-24, 09-25, 09-28, 09-29, 09-30, 10-01, 10-02, 10-05, 10-06, 10-07, 10-08 and today are not reflected). It is a dated read, not a stale-missing one — I name it as behind the tape rather than writing unavailable, the convention my recent plans used.

Consistency with House Delta's ## Regime Charter (desks/house-delta/CLAUDE.md, header still DRAFT — not ratified): consistent; no non-baseline tag is active. Walking the charter's own indicator list (item 5) against the file and today's live tape: spy_drawdown ≥ 5% — no (<2% at the file's read; the recent record-high tape does not approach it); vix_regime MID or HIGH — no (file 14.21 and today's live 15.30 both sit inside LOW (<18)); spy_vs_sma50 below 50d — unmeasured: the file's dated tag says above 50d (as of 09-22), and today's briefing carries SPY at 773.88 against SMA20 767.26 (well above its SMA20) but no current SMA50 level, so proximity to that tag is unmeasured, not "close". Today the plan expresses the standing posture: long-only, intraday, flat by 15:30, one position — the design, unchanged.

One reading worth naming precisely, not a shift: VIX at 15.30 (−0.11 vs prior close 15.41) remains deep inside LOW (<18) — 14.7 points below my 30 hard skip, and inside LOW (<18), my best-backtested LONG bucket (own tabulation: <18 PF 2.22, n=62; 18–28 PF 1.62). A tag change needs the same non-baseline tag for 5 consecutive sessions; the tag is still baseline. Per the Vesper→Delta peer critique (2026-10-02, investigating), I do not cite the LOW-VIX conditional PF as validating a no-clear session: conditional payoff and arrival rate are distinct processes, and today is written to keep them separate.

Own-desk charter watches: rolling 6-month PF reads 1.648, alert OFF — carried as the demonstrated instrument finding (a fixed trailing-180d window holding the whole book is cumulative PF under another name); no escalation filed on the OFF print. Per-pair PF: AMD→TSM n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346 (above 1.0 for the first time, no recovery declared — one of its three recent wins, 09-22, is measured sector beta), NVDA→ASML 2W/0L, +$264.42 (unseen since 08-03 — ~10 weeks). Watch and report only — a persistent shift becomes a Desk Review proposal (recalibration / sit-out / new-mechanism), never an automatic change, and I touch no gate.

Shared Market Read

  • Event risk today: MEDIUM — no Tier-1 hard skip. Today's scheduled board: DAL Q3 2026 earnings before the open (single-name, not one of my four hard skips), 10:00 AM ET University of Michigan preliminary consumer sentiment (48.0 / 47.8) and 5-year inflation expectations (3.4% / 3.5%), 1:00 PM Baker Hughes rig count (LOW). Firm-wide trade status GO. Next Tier-1: CPI, Oct 14, 8:30 AM ET (in 5 days). Dal is a single-name airline catalyst; the Michigan release lands exactly at my 10:00 entry bar — named, not traded around.
  • Session character expected: news-driven / mild risk-on — the briefing's own call. US equity futures point higher as oil retreats on Trump's "no Iran attack before the November elections" comments and cited productive talks; tech is recovering after the prior AI-led weakness (watchlist snapshot: QQQ +0.90%, SPY +0.44% pre-market — time-sensitive, not consolidated). Competing cross-currents: Treasury yields near multi-decade highs and a firm dollar; Gulf/Red Sea supply risk unresolved. The briefing explicitly warns a continuation is conditional and can reset on the Michigan release or a fresh Gulf headline. This is a complex-wide bid shape — the beta, not an idiosyncratic dispersion trigger, the shape my own stand-down argument classifies as not-my-edge.
  • VIX regime: 15.30 LOW (<18) — ~14.7 points below my 30 skip. LOW is my best backtest bucket and the dispersion condition my mechanism needs; it carries no direction. Not near a tag change.
  • Key levels (index context only — I do not trade the indices): SPY prior close 773.88, prior-day range 770.48 – 777.07, SMA20 767.26 (well above), ATR(14) 6.77; QQQ prior close 747.50, prior-day range 743.28 – 757.18, SMA20 735.68 (well above), ATR(14) 9.65. A move beyond roughly ±0.5% (SPY ~3.9 pts = 0.57× ATR; QQQ ~3.7 pts = 0.39× ATR) would be a genuine repricing rather than noise.
  • Macro backdrop: the market is leaning risk-on on oil de-escalation and a tech bounce, but high long yields and unresolved Gulf supply risk keep the valuation setup fragile into Q3 earnings season and five days ahead of CPI.
  • Documented data-source gap — this desk's complex is not priced by either firm input. The briefing is index-level (SPY/QQQ/VIX only) and carries no instrument-level print for NVDA, ASML, AMD or TSM; the watchlist names no NVDA/ASML/AMD/TSM line either. No pre-market level is adopted for any leg, and no gap is priced off the tech-recovery headline — my signal is measured 09:30 → 09:55 off the cash open, so a prior close frames only. All four legs require live confirmation at the cash open.

DELTA — Lead-Lag Pairs (NVDA→ASML, AMD→TSM), LONG-only

Call: p_trade 0.12, direction long, conviction low. Setup present possible but unlikely — the session is open to me (no hard skip) and VIX sits in my best bucket, but nothing pre-open supplies an idiosyncratic dispersion reason to expect a ≥1.5% first-hour leader impulse today, and the tech-recovery tape is the complex-wide beta shape that argues against lifting the number.

My signal is a leader's first-hour return off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, versus ±1.5%: NVDA ≥ +1.5% → buy ASML at the 10:00 bar (primary, edge-carrying cell, live 2W/0L +$264.42, dormant since 08-03 — ~10 weeks), AMD ≥ +1.5% → buy TSM at the 10:00 bar (secondary, n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346). A leader ≤ −1.5% is my disabled-SHORT branch (ENABLE_SHORT = False) — no trade by rule. If both leaders clear up, the larger |return| wins (single position, no stacking).

Why 0.12, and why low conviction. p_trade is the probability the engine logs ≥ 1 real trade today, not whether it should. intelligence/plan-calibration.csv, my rows (56+ scored days, 9 fires, unconditional realized fire rate ~0.16, mean forecast ~0.17):

The hard-skip sessions in the 0.00 bucket (07-14 CPI, 08-12 CPI, 08-26 PCE, 09-04 NFP, 09-30 PCE, 10-02 NFP) never fired, exactly as the rule guarantees. Today is not a skip, so 0.00 would be dishonest — the session is live and the up-branch can fire. But the recent tape is stark: no LONG clear since 09-24. Across the ten tradeable sessions 09-25→10-08, the only ±1.5% clear was 09-28's disabled-SHORT AMD −2.07%; the best LONG reading was 10-07's AMD +1.02% (0.48pp short). The 10-07 plan priced 0.15 and the 10-08 plan 0.12, both realized no-trade (Brier 0.0225 / 0.0144) — the impulse has been scarce, and 0.12 is held below the 0.12–0.15 bucket's realized 0.235, the discipline I set after the 09-25/10-01 over-forecasts. Critically, I do not lift it on today's tech recovery (QQQ +0.90% pre-market, AI-led names bouncing): that is a complex-wide bid, the exact shape my own stand-down argument classifies as beta rather than an idiosyncratic lead-lag impulse — and the shape behind both measured over-forecasts (09-25 p 0.22 → Brier 0.0484; 10-01 p 0.30 → Brier 0.09). Prior-session momentum and a pre-market index bounce are not a first-hour clear today. direction: long because LONG is the only direction I am permitted to take; conviction: low because the number is near the base rate and the call would move on any real pre-open dispersion signal — which today is absent.

Sizing vs. event risk: standard — 0.75% risk, single position, if a signal fires. No size-down and no headline buffer is invented off a morning read. One genuine caveat I name rather than adjust for: the Michigan sentiment/inflation-expectations release lands at 10:00 AM ET — exactly my entry bar — and the DAL print is a pre-open single-name catalyst. Neither is a hard skip (Michigan is not CPI/NFP/PCE, and DAL is one stock), and neither is a reason to change the SOP: my exit is a 2.0× ATR stop plus the hard 15:30 flat, and a release-timed whipsaw at the entry bar is inside the loss distribution the backtest already prices. I adjust nothing; I name it.

Session-character fit: marginal. My mechanism needs a large idiosyncratic first-hour leader impulse that the laggard has not yet followed. The pre-open state supplies the bucket (VIX LOW — my best) but not the trigger: no instrument-level pre-market print for any of my four legs, no confirmed gap, a news-driven tape leaning risk-on off an oil headline and a tech bounce rather than a fresh design→manufacturer catalyst, and a scheduled release sitting on my entry bar. A LOW-VIX, low-dispersion, complex-wide-bid Friday is exactly the tape where a leader most often fails to clear ±1.5% — which is why the number is low, not because the mechanism is impaired.

Key levels (mine only): the only load-bearing numbers are each leader's first-hour return off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, versus ±1.5% — NVDA ≥ +1.5% → buy ASML (primary, edge-carrying, live 2W/0L +$264.42 — unseen since 2026-08-03, ~10 weeks); AMD ≥ +1.5% → buy TSM (secondary, n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346). Index gap-framing only: SPY 770.48 / 777.07 (range), SMA20 767.26, ATR 6.77; QQQ 743.28 / 757.18 (range), SMA20 735.68, ATR 9.65. Carried data gap: the non-firing pair's first-hour value is recorded on traded days only as the blocking note, and on hard-skip days no leader value is recorded at all — a live-dispersion read today is available from the pipeline only as the no_signal blocking note if it does not fire.

Invalidation / no-trade reasons (binding today):

  1. No leader clears ±1.5% up by the 09:55 read → no_trade:no_signal (the modal outcome; ~0.16 base rate, and the tape has produced no LONG clear in ten sessions).
  2. Leaders opening down ≥1.5% = the disabled-SHORT branch (ENABLE_SHORT = False) → no trade by rule — the branch an oil- or rates-shock tape would land in if semis sell off.
  3. A complex-wide bid with no idiosyncratic leader-vs-basket residual — the stand-down shape (09-25/10-01 over-forecast error class, and today the pre-market tech recovery) — is not a trade even if a leader clears: I would rather pass than take beta dressed as edge. This is a read I make at 09:55, not a gate.
  4. Any intraday VIX ≥ 30 would independently close consideration (15.30 now, ~14.7 points away) — not near.
  5. Next hard skips: CPI Oct 14, FOMC Oct 28. Today's DAL earnings and Michigan release are not hard skips.

Desk book state (carries forward, unchanged by today's plan). Cumulative +$566.45 across 13 LONG trades, 7W/6L, WR 53.8%, gross PF 1.648; SPRT n=13, LLR +0.976, CONTINUE (+1.969 to CONSISTENT-WITH-BACKTEST, −3.920 to DEGRADED). NVDA→ASML 2W/0L, +$264.42 — the edge-carrying cell, starved ~10 weeks (unseen since 08-03), regime-shaped, not a gate problem (VIX < 18 is my best bucket and inside it the tape has been quiet). AMD→TSM n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346 — above 1.0 for the first time on three consecutive wins, no recovery declared (one of the three, 09-22, is measured sector beta); the 09-05 stop-calibration diagnostic read NO and remains pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review. Rolling 6-month PF 1.648, alert OFF (instrument artifact, above). SHORT re-enablement rejected 2026-07-15 — live gate stands; the governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) is at n=13, 17 trades from being decidable. Stand-down argument live and provisional; its withdrawal trigger is re-registered on the leader-vs-basket residual, not the PF ratio (last reading: 09-24, +2.28pp vs SMH). Most recent live sessions: 10-05 no_signal (AMD −0.16%, NVDA +0.48%), 10-06 no_signal (AMD −1.00%, NVDA +0.11%), 10-07 no_signal (AMD +1.02% — 0.48pp short, NVDA +0.44%), 10-08 no_signal (AMD −0.51%, NVDA −0.32%).

Forecast-methodology note (the open item I am carrying, not a gate change). My last two reflections flagged a twice-measured forecast-layer error: pricing 0.22 (09-25) and 0.30 (10-01) on complex-wide-bid sessions, reading sector beta as edge. Today I anchor to the mechanical dispersion state (VIX bucket, any leader leg moving pre-market, session containment) and hold the number below its bucket's realized rate — which is the re-anchor already with TEMPER (DC-1). Following the House Vesper peer critique (2026-10-02, disposition: investigating), I will not cite the LOW-VIX conditional PF as validating a no-clear session: conditional payoff and arrival rate are distinct processes; the desk will tabulate LONG-clear frequency by VIX regime, keeping hard-skip days as diagnostic observations, before DC-1 advances. This is a p_trade methodology input only; no gate, floor, window, stop or sizing parameter is touched, and nothing is applied unilaterally.

Peer-review & diagnostic status (carried). The Reversal→Delta critique (disposition: acted, 2026-10-02) requires the read-only skip-disabled event-day diagnostic to be completed and future hard skips labeled as protected exposure with explicit diagnostic status. Today is not a hard skip, so no skip-labeling is due; the diagnostic remains open, moderate priority (two more Tier-1 skips — 09-30 PCE, 10-02 NFP — passed with no coverage). The House Delta repeating-pattern row stands at N=2, not clearing N=3 ("mechanism or forecast conclusion inferred from conditional payoff while arrival-rate/event diagnostic evidence is absent") — today's forecast is written specifically to avoid adding a third instance: no payoff statistic is used to justify the number.

Plan Filed

  • Filed: 2026-10-09 04:35 PDT (pre-open)
  • Frontmatter forecasts complete for every active member: yes (delta — p_trade 0.12, direction long, conviction low)
  • Briefing event risk confirmed: MEDIUM — no Tier-1 hard skip; DAL Q3 earnings before the open, University of Michigan sentiment + inflation expectations at 10:00 AM ET (my entry bar), Baker Hughes rig count 1:00 PM. Firm-wide GO. Next Tier-1 CPI Oct 14 8:30 AM ET, then FOMC decision Oct 28. VIX 15.30 LOW (<18), −0.11 vs prior close 15.41; SPY 773.88 / SMA20 767.26 / ATR 6.77 / range 770.48–777.07; QQQ 747.50 / SMA20 735.68 / ATR 9.65 / range 743.28–757.18; futures higher on oil de-escalation and a tech bounce, high yields and Gulf supply risk a counterweight; regular session (not a holiday).
  • Verdict: Setup present possible but unlikely — p_trade 0.12, direction long, conviction low. Session live (no hard skip) and VIX in my best LONG bucket, but the pre-open state supplies no idiosyncratic dispersion trigger; the tech-recovery tape is the complex-wide beta shape that argues against lifting, and no LONG clear has fired since 09-24. Standard 0.75% single-position sizing if a signal fires; no adjustment — the Michigan release sitting on the entry bar is named, not traded around. No gate, floor, window, stop or sizing parameter touched; the p_trade dispersion re-anchor is a TEMPER item (DC-1), filed as a note only.
  • Documented data-source gap: the briefing is index-level only and carries no NVDA/ASML/AMD/TSM print; the watchlist names no line for any of the four legs. No pre-market level adopted for any leg; no gap priced — the signal reads 09:30 → 09:55 off the cash open.

House Delta — Desk Reflection — 2026-10-09

Cadence rule: Weekly/Friday floor trigger (WS5 per-desk cadence). Today is a Friday; the last desk reflection (2026-10-02, also a Friday) closed the 09-28→10-02 window. This one covers the full arc it was designed for. Period covered: 2026-10-02 (last desk reflection) → 2026-10-09. Scheduled sessions in window: 10-05 (Mon), 10-06 (Tue), 10-07 (Wed), 10-08 (Thu), 10-09 (Fri) — five sessions.

Single-member desk — the desk reflection is DELTA's own analysis at desk scope; the per-member compatibility file (agents/delta/reflections/daily_2026-10-09.md) is written separately and remains first-person. Nothing to pool across members.

Regime watch: data-infra/regime/current.json — status: ok, as_of 2026-09-22 (now lagging the live tape by twelve sessions: 09-23 through 10-09 are not reflected; I name it as behind the tape rather than writing unavailable, the convention my last several plans used): SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). Live tape from today's EOD: VIX close 14.84 (−0.57 vs prior close 15.41, still LOW); SPY 778.51 (+0.60% vs prior close; above SMA20 767.98); QQQ 751.26 (+0.50%; above SMA20 737.50); session character ranging. Walking my charter's own indicator list: spy_drawdown ≥ 5% — no; vix_regime MID/HIGH — no (LOW, ~15 points below my 30 hard skip); spy_vs_sma50 below 50d — unmeasured (the file's dated tag says above 50d; no current SMA50 level is available today, so proximity is unmeasured, not "close"). No charter tag is active, and nothing is near the persistence rule's five-consecutive-session bar. Watch and report only — nothing filed, no posture change. Charter status: the header still reads DRAFT — not ratified; my 10-02 peer review confirmed there is no ratified charter to comply with, so today's reflection is a self-check against the draft and makes no charter-compliance claim beyond that.

Per-Member Binding Gate Analysis (delta — the whole load)

Binding gate this period: the LONG up-branch — leader first-hour return ≥ +1.5% off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, priced as the union of the two leaders. It bound across the window, and the near-miss data says REGIME — not calibration. The window delivered no repeated close miss against ±1.5%: one moderate up-graze (10-07, AMD +1.02%, 0.48pp short), one down-branch event that is untradeable by rule (10-09, AMD −1.91% → short_disabled), and three sessions far inside both branches (10-05, 10-06, 10-08). No TEMPER conversation on the gate is available on this data and I am not starting one.

  1. The near-miss is a structural absence with one graze-adjacent reading, not a threshold being repeatedly touched. 10-07 logged AMD_TSM: blocked=leader_move val=+1.02% floor=±1.5% leader=AMD | NVDA_ASML: blocked=leader_move val=+0.44% …. The single closest miss of the window — AMD +1.02%, 0.48pp short — is a genuine partial move and is the nearest up-floor graze since 09-29's 0.53pp, but one 0.48pp miss is N=1, not a repeated pattern, and it sits against the other four sessions' clear structural absence (a short_disabled, and three far-inside days). A threshold being repeatedly grazed would show several sessions clustered just under +1.5%; this window shows one. Regime, not calibration. No fix, wait.
  2. The window's sharpest structural fact repeats the mirror: the only leader impulse that cleared ±1.5% was DOWNWARD — and it was untradeable by rule. On 10-09, AMD printed −1.91% across the first-hour window, clearing the −1.5% branch by 0.41pp. With ENABLE_SHORT=False (TEMPER's 2026-07-15 rejection), that is no_trade:short_disabled — not a missed LONG, a branch my mechanism is barred from taking. So over the window my mechanism saw exactly one qualifying impulse, and it was on the side I cannot trade, while the LONG side produced at most a 0.48pp graze. That is the third consecutive window (09-18→10-02, 09-28→10-02, and now 10-05→10-09) in which the only ±1.5% clear was the disabled down-branch. It sharpens the SHORT question — but SHORT re-enablement stays rejected and the live gate stands; I do not re-litigate a TEMPER rejection in a reflection, and the governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) is at n=13.
  3. The genuine positive of this window is the FORECAST layer, which repaired itself — and that is the mirror of last window's self-critique. Last window I over-priced two complex-wide-bid sessions (09-25 p 0.22 → Brier 0.0484; 10-01 p 0.30 → Brier 0.09, the worst of that window) by reading sector beta as edge — the exact shape the House Echo peer critique flagged and I accepted. This window I priced every session at 0.15 / 0.15 / 0.15 / 0.12 / 0.12, each held below its bucket's realized fire rate, and each realized no-fire for Brier 0.0225 / 0.0225 / 0.0225 / 0.0144 / 0.0144. On 10-07 and 10-09 I explicitly named a pre-market tech-recovery / complex-wide bid and refused to lift the number on it — the same shape that produced both over-forecasts — and on both days the bid faded without transmitting leader-to-laggard. This is the DC-1 re-anchor discipline (anchor to the mechanical dispersion state, not a headline bid) being applied as a plan note, never as a unilateral gate change. It is evidence the standing DC-1 proposal is pointed the right way; it is not, per the accepted 10-02 House Vesper disposition, evidence that a quiet tape stays quiet (payoff vs arrival rate are distinct).
  4. The dispersion state is the whole story of the window, and I no longer over-read it. Five sessions of LOW VIX (closes 14.84–16.30, regime file 14.21) and near-baseline index ranges (today's SPY true range 5.53 = 0.89× ATR) produced no sustained ≥1.5% first-hour leader impulse on the LONG side. VIX < 18 is my best-backtested LONG bucket (own tabulation: <18 PF 2.22, n=62) — but that is a conditional-payoff statistic, and per the 10-02 House Vesper critique I now state the honest version plainly: the bucket is right and the tape inside it was quiet, which is a statement about opportunity frequency (a quiet, sub-ATR, low-dispersion tape), not a payoff claim validating the no-fires. The honest statement is that the setup never came close. The cell that carries my backtest edge, NVDA→ASML, has now been unseen for two months (since 08-03).
  5. Carried and unchanged, restated so nothing silently ages out: the AMD→TSM sub-book is n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346, one of its three recent wins (09-22) measured sector beta, no recovery declared; the 09-05 stop-calibration diagnostic (read NO) is still pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review. The stand-down argument's withdrawal trigger stays re-registered on the leader-vs-basket residual, not the PF ratio — no residual was computed this window (no clears to discriminate), so the 09-24 residual (+2.28pp vs SMH) stands as the last reading. SHORT re-enablement stays rejected; live gate stands.
  6. Operational: the window was hit by the firm-wide Nous Portal credential outage (10-05→10-07) — DELTA's 10-05 and 10-07 plans and reflections were backfilled after auth was restored, and the 10-06 plan was filed as a retroactive backfill authored strictly as of pre-market 10-06. All five sessions still produced normal performance/daily_*.md rows and normal trades.csv rows, so the calibration series has no gap for this desk. The ledger-freshness post-run check remains unwired — a clean run is observed, not verified. The event-day diagnostic remains unperformed (see below).

Open TEMPER Items (Carried Forward)

ItemStatus this period
p_trade calibration series (DELTA-owned) — DC-1 re-anchor proposalPositive movement: the twice-measured over-forecast shape did NOT recur. Five sessions priced 0.15/0.15/0.15/0.12/0.12 (all below bucket realized rate), all no-fire, Brier ≤0.0225. On 10-07 and 10-09 I named a complex-wide bid and refused to lift the number on it. Per the 10-02 House Vesper disposition, the desk will tabulate LONG-clear frequency by VIX regime before DC-1 advances — that tabulation is not yet built. Forecast methodology, never a gate change; no unilateral tweak.
Rolling 6-month PF monitor (binding condition #2)Unchanged — 1.648 > 1.2, alert OFF; no new trade, so no new reading. Pre-registered SPRT arbiter says CONTINUE (LLR +0.976, unchanged). Instrument artifact carried; no escalation filed on the OFF print.
AMD→TSM sub-book calibration (n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346)Unchanged — no AMD→TSM trade this window. One of its three recent wins is measured sector beta; no recovery declared. Stop-calibration deliverable (09-05, read NO) still pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review.
Stand-down argument (complex-wide bid denies the idiosyncratic cascade) — trigger re-registrationLive and provisional; withdrawal trigger on the residual, not PF. No new residual this window (no clears to discriminate). Applied live as a forecast discipline on 10-07/10-09 — named and declined.
LONG up-floor watch-to-escalate (09-04 flagged)One graze-adjacent reading this window: 10-07 AMD +1.02% (0.48pp short). That is N=1 against the floor — the watch stays unarmed. Not a repeated close miss; no escalation.
SHORT re-enablement (REJECTED 2026-07-15; live gate stands)Unchanged. Governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) still at n=13. This window produced one short_disabled reading (10-09, AMD −1.91%) — the only ±1.5% clear of the window, on the barred side. Not re-litigated here; TEMPER's ruling stands.
Event-day diagnostic (skip-disabled run) — Reversal→Delta disposition, acted 2026-10-02Still not performed — open, moderate priority. This window had no Tier-1 hard skip, so no new skipped observation accrued and nothing was mislabeled; the diagnostic itself remains outstanding. Next skips: CPI Oct 14, FOMC Oct 28.
Pipeline-reliability: per-agent 60s watchdog + ledger-freshness check (operational)Ledger-freshness post-run check remains unwired. The 10-05→10-07 Nous Portal outage forced backfills; the desk's own rows were all recovered. Item stays open.

Reconnaissance Ledger Items

  • TEMPER conversation — p_trade methodology (DC-1). This window adds a positive data point: the over-forecast shape (complex-wide bid priced as edge) did not recur across five sessions, and the discipline (hold below bucket realized rate; refuse to lift on a bid) was applied in the plans. Standing obligation (10-02 House Vesper disposition): tabulate LONG-clear frequency by VIX regime, retaining hard-skip days as diagnostic observations, before DC-1 advances.
  • Leader-vs-basket residual — re-registered withdrawal trigger, still not a standing instrument. No clears this window, so not computed; 09-24 (+2.28pp vs SMH) stands. Per the accepted 09-25 peer disposition, still to be filed as a read-only deliverable (agents/delta/deliverable_leader_basket_residual_.py) so it is computed every session rather than ad hoc.
  • Event-day diagnostic (skip-disabled), read-only — standing obligation (Reversal→Delta, acted 10-02). No Tier-1 skips this window; unperformed. Moderate priority; next skips CPI 10-14, FOMC 10-28.
  • Traded-day near-miss logging gap (carried, minor) — the non-firing pair's first-hour value is still unrecorded on traded days. This window was all no-trade, so not an instance.
  • Ledger-freshness post-run check — still unwired; the 10-05→10-07 auth outage is a live illustration of why an observed-clean run is not a verified one.

Desk Summary for Orchestrator

House Delta: no trade all fortnight — five sessions (10-05→10-09), $0.00. Binding gate: the LONG up-branch — REGIME, not calibration. Near-miss data: the only ±1.5% clear of the window was downward — 10-09 AMD −1.91% → no_trade:short_disabled (untradeable by rule); the best LONG reading was 10-07 AMD +1.02% (0.48pp short, N=1); 10-05/10-06/10-08 were far inside both branches. One 0.48pp graze is N=1, not a pattern — no TEMPER conversation on the gate, no unilateral tweak, wait. Cumulative unchanged +$566.45 (n=13, WR 53.8%, gross PF 1.648); SPRT LLR +0.976, CONTINUE (unchanged, as no-trade sessions should be). The honest positive self-critique is the forecast layer, which repaired last window's twice-measured error: five sessions priced 0.15/0.15/0.15/0.12/0.12, all below bucket realized rate, all no-fire (Brier ≤0.0225), and I named a pre-market complex-wide bid on 10-07/10-09 and refused to lift the number on it — the shape behind the prior 0.22/0.30 over-forecasts. Still owed: the event-day skip-disabled diagnostic (Reversal→Delta, acted 10-02 — unperformed, no Tier-1 skips this window) and the VIX-regime clear-frequency tabulation (House Vesper→Delta, investigating — required before DC-1 advances). No recovery declared on AMD→TSM (n=11, PF 1.346); NVDA→ASML — my edge-carrying cell — still unseen since 08-03 (two months) in the quiet LOW-VIX tape. Operational: 10-05→10-07 was a Nous Portal auth outage (plans/reflections backfilled); ledger-freshness check still unwired.

Reflection Filed

  • Filed: 2026-10-09 EOD (desk cadence — Friday weekly floor)
  • Next regular session Mon 10-12 is closed for Columbus Day; the next tradeable session follows the holiday. Next verified Tier-1 is CPI, Oct 14, 8:30 AM ET, then FOMC decision Oct 28. Carry-in threads: the weak Michigan sentiment (46.3 vs 48.1) and firmer long-run inflation expectations (3.5% vs 3.4%) into CPI; the risk-on relief tone off oil de-escalation and a tech recovery; the unresolved dispersion question. Watching: (a) whether the LOW-VIX quiet tape holds — a sixth and seventh consecutive session of no ≥1.5% LONG leader impulse keeps this regime and I wait; (b) the p_trade number — I will keep pricing it below bucket realized rate and will not lift it on a complex-wide bid alone, because that is the shape behind the prior window's over-forecasts; (c) NVDA→ASML's continued starvation (unseen since 08-03) — not a gate problem; (d) whether the residual-based withdrawal trigger for the stand-down argument gets its first real reading, which requires a clear to discriminate.
