Briefing reference: /Users/dadbot/Desktop/ClaudeBod/projects/dadbrain/Analysis/briefings/2026-10-06-pm.md PM: MNEME (independent read of my own desk; D3 superseded 2026-09-23 — this is House Mneme's own opinion. GHOST stays frozen, no plan)
data-infra/regime/current.json (read 2026-10-06, status: ok): as_of 2026-09-22 — SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). The file now lags the live tape by nine completed sessions (09-23 through 10-05 are not folded in; today makes ten). Not unavailable — the tags it carries still have the same shape as the live tape — but named honestly as nine sessions behind, not passed off as current.
Charter status, stated correctly: DRAFT — not ratified (desks/house-mneme/CLAUDE.md). A consistency verdict is therefore against draft text, not a ratified constraint.
Draft-charter consistency: consistent on substance — no risk-off tag is active, and today is a live eligible session, not a hard skip. My persistence rule counts a shift persistent only when at least one risk-off tag — SPY below 50d / drawdown ≥2% / VIX >18 — holds 5 consecutive sessions. None holds and none is close, so nothing is filed.
Three indicators are moving, all named:
spy_vs_sma50; the briefing's price block carries SMA20, not SMA50, so I cannot resolve the charter tag live — I name the SMA20 shelf as the closest available proxy and say so rather than asserting a 50-day reading I do not have.Watch and report only — a persistent shift goes to Desk Review as a recalibration / sit-out / new-mechanism proposal; I never change posture on a regime signal myself.
p_trade input (standing forecast-discipline rule since 09-24).Both active members are long-only, intraday, flat at the close, single position per day. Neither is skipped today: the live event-day check returns False for both stacks, so the KNN path runs on all three windows. The ~40% pooled eligible-fire base rate is the honest anchor. The one structural difference from yesterday: 10-05 placed a scheduled macro print (ISM, 10:00) exactly on Window A's entry; today has no intraday scheduled print at all — the 8:30 trade-balance lands before the 9:30 open, so all three windows observe a tape that is already digesting it. That is a cleaner window-observation day than 10-05, but it is a narrative observation, not a measured fire-rate edge, so it does not move the numbers.
Printed: mneme 0.40 / trace 0.35, direction long, conviction low — at the measured base rate, not a hedge and not a 0.5-on-everything signature. TRACE's number sits one notch lower on its stricter joint gate (max_sim ≥ 0.60) and its Window A record. A same-day co-fire counts as one clustered observation for Family 5.
Both stacks come off a 10-05 fire-and-win; I do not price that streak. No gate-clear-streak conditioning: a win yesterday is not evidence about today's vote or max_sim, so the numbers stay at base rate.
What this plan is not doing, holding to the desk's standing dispositions: no per-stack p_trade spread beyond the gate-strictness discount above (the withdrawn 09-25 spread item is not re-filed); no gate-clear-streak "conditioning evidence" framing; no VIX-as-tailwind or VIX-as-"best"; no N=1 validation claim; the pre-market cross-index read recorded and not priced; the charter status stated as DRAFT — not ratified.
The two structural questions I am watching into the session (why a base-rate day is still worth writing):
max_sim. MNEME's recent near-misses have mostly been the vote, wide (09-25 A 40% / B 53% / C 60%; 09-28 A 47% / B 47% / C 60%), but 09-29 falsified "similarity never binds me" as a flat claim (Window B cleared the vote at 67% but max_sim failed at 0.485 vs the 0.50 floor). 10-05 cleared both comfortably (Window C vote 73.3% / max_sim 0.7208). A second similarity-bind would matter more than another wide vote miss.A trade is possible, at the pooled base rate — a live, eligible session.
My runner's live event-day check returns False today (the 8:30 trade-balance release and the STZ/LW earnings are not in my blackout set, FOMC/CPI/NFP/PCE), so the KNN path runs on all three windows. p_trade 0.40, direction long, conviction low — at the measured pooled eligible-fire rate (3 fires in the last 7 sessions: 09-24, 10-01, 10-05; 09-30 and 10-02 were hard skips; 09-25/09-28/09-29 were gate misses). Not a hedge, and not above base rate: the tape is contained (SPY a second close above SMA20, VIX LOW, firm GO) but nothing about today's structure raises the fire probability above the base — and I do not price the 10-05 win.
Setup present: possible, at base rate. My binding gate has mostly been the vote (≥62%), binding wide — 09-25 A 40% / B 53% / C 60%; 09-28 A 47% / B 47% / C 60%. Two corrections I carry rather than smooth over: (a) "Similarity never binds me" is falsified as a flat claim — on 09-29 Window B cleared the vote (67%) but max_sim failed at 0.485 vs the 0.50 floor, the one recent session where similarity, not the vote, was the binding constraint; it argues against ever treating a max_sim floor raise as a "quality" tightening. (b) Window C's live character improved on 10-05 but stays the stack's weak spot — C fired Window C long at 774.77 (14:00) and took a HARD_FLAT win at 775.76, +$95.04, lifting the live C sub-book to 5W/5L on 10 fires (was 4W/5L after the 10-01 stop-out). One win does not rehabilitate a window whose holdout PF is 1.25; the desktop still treats C with extra scrutiny and does not expand its allocation.
Window-by-window read:
Sizing vs. event risk: standard 0.75% ($187.50 on $25K), max $75K notional — unchanged. MEDIUM event risk is a pre-open information release plus a next-day minutes window; nothing is in my blackout. Sizing is never an event-risk input — the gate is the protection.
Key levels: SPY prior close 774.97, prior range 769.80 – 776.61, SMA20 765.07 (+1.29%, held — the shelf is support again), ATR(14) 7.29 → 1.5× ATR stop ≈ 10.9 points. A >1.5% open gap either direction remains my pattern-library-thin-at-extremes condition.
Invalidation: SPY gaps >1.5% at the open → stand down entirely (the 8:30 trade-balance is the live candidate for such a gap). A break and hold back below the 769.80 prior-day low with QQQ underperforming re-opens the trend-down tape where my longs get stopped → stand down entirely (named as a change — SPY closed 774.97, so the operative near-term floor has stepped up from the SMA20 shelf to the prior-day low; the SMA20 765.07 shelf is the deeper floor). A post-8:30 impulse that reverses into B's observation → no discretionary action; the gates decide. No gate is amended; v5's parameter set (K=15, max_sim ≥ 0.50, vote ≥ 62%) is untouched and stays live. SPRT CONSISTENT-WITH-BACKTEST, sticky, LLR +5.171 (n=28, WR 50.0%, 14W/14L, cumulative +$1,049.68) — nowhere near its ±2.944 boundaries. Window C suspension rule (rolling 15-trade PF < 1.2) not triggered — the rolling 15-trade stack PF is healthy at ≈3.1.
A trade is possible, one notch below base rate on the stricter joint gate — a live, eligible session.
Same event-day check, same False result: none of today's items is in my blackout set, so the KNN path runs on all three windows. p_trade 0.35, direction long, conviction low. My joint entry bar (max_sim ≥ 0.60 and vote ≥ 62%, K=10, DIA) is the highest in the family, so I sit one notch under MNEME's 0.40; the 09-05 SIP same-day fix is live and today's bars read normally.
Setup present: possible, discounted for my Window A record — but 10-05 just pushed back on my own worst-window thesis. My 10-05 Window A fire (entry 508.37 at 10:00, HARD_FLAT 510.75 at 12:00, +$349.86) was a win on a print day — the exact 9:30–10:00 span I have argued produces non-continuation. That is an honest counter-instance: Window A is now 3W/9L on 12 fires, and my standing session-character / cross-index-leadership filter for Window A proposal (proposed to TEMPER, never executed) gained a win, not the expected 12th loss — so the thesis is weaker, not stronger, today. Separately, my 10-06 candidates were not read: no signal_detail file exists for me, and DIA is absent from the briefing's price block, so I have no verified DIA print for today. Windows B (0W/1L) and C (0W/2L) observe the post-print/quiet tape and carry the realistic odds, but their live samples are tiny.
Sizing vs. event risk: standard 0.75% ($187.50 on $25K), max $75K notional — unchanged. The SPRT clock is explicitly not a sizing or gating input; I size by design, not by the clock or the headline.
Key levels (observational, unverified prints off my own path): DIA is not in the briefing's price block. Best prints: 10-05 entry 508.37 / stop 507.54 / exit 510.75, 09-28 entry 514.92 / stop 513.98 / exit 514.64, 09-25 entry 514.89. The ~508 area (10-05's own entry base) is the level that must hold to keep a bid under the leg; a decisive break and hold below it with the Dow's rate-sensitives leading lower is the value-leg fade tape where my longs stop out. Named as an observation, not a level already verified.
Invalidation: the standing invalidation is unchanged — if my runner logs a trade whose entry, stop, or exit cannot be reproduced off my own path, that is a pipeline escalation, not a trade to accept. A DIA break and hold below ~508 with the Dow's rate-sensitives leading lower → stand down entirely. No gate is amended; v2's parameter set (K=10, max_sim ≥ 0.60, vote ≥ 62%) is untouched and stays live. SPRT CONTINUE, LLR −1.929 (n=15, WR 20.0%, 3W/12L, cumulative −$38.37), 1.016 from the −2.944 DEGRADED boundary — the 10-05 win moved LLR from −2.700 to −1.929, widening the buffer from last week's thinnest-of-the-run 0.245 to 1.016. The boundary is not crossed and the pre-registered 09-18 desk-PM-review / TEMPER-within-5 protocol is not re-triggered.
Both active members are LIVE and eligible — firm-wide GO, no Tier-1 hard skip, and neither stack's blackout set (FOMC/CPI/NFP/PCE) contains any of today's items (8:30 trade-balance, STZ/LW earnings, 1:00 3-year auction, Fed speakers). MNEME prints 0.40 / long / low, TRACE 0.35 / long / low (one notch lower on the stricter max_sim ≥ 0.60 joint gate). No gate is touched and no posture changes: MNEME's v5 set (K=15, max_sim ≥ 0.50, vote ≥ 62%) and TRACE's v2 set (K=10, max_sim ≥ 0.60, vote ≥ 62%) are untouched. Both member sections remain clear of the five peer-review dispositions (no per-stack spread beyond the gate-strictness discount; no gate-clear-streak conditioning; no VIX-as-tailwind or VIX-as-"best"; no N=1 validation claim; charter stated as DRAFT — not ratified). The one structural difference from 10-05: no scheduled macro print lands on any window's entry today (the 8:30 trade-balance is pre-open) — a cleaner observation day, held as narrative, not priced. Monitoring clocks: MNEME SPRT CONSISTENT-WITH-BACKTEST (n=28, LLR +5.171, +$1,049.68); TRACE SPRT CONTINUE (n=15, LLR −1.929, 1.016 from DEGRADED, −$38.37) — buffer widened on the 10-05 win. Watch item named under Regime Watch: the always-long baseline gap — combined ≈ −$2,590.08 (MNEME baseline 52 tr / +$1,964.65 vs real +$1,049.68, gap −$914.97; TRACE baseline 41 tr / +$1,636.74 vs real −$38.37, gap −$1,675.11) — carried, named for the October review, nothing filed (not a second checkpoint). TRACE's Window A session-character filter proposal is named weaker after 10-05 (a win, not a loss, on the print-day instance). A same-day co-fire counts as one clustered observation.

Same-day-on-trade trigger (WS5). This desk's reflection floor is Friday with a second trigger of same-day-on-trade; MNEME logged a real trade today (Tue 2026-10-06, SPY long, Window B), so the desk is spawned for the daily reflection. Scope is everything since the desk's last reflection — desks/house-mneme/reflections/2026-10-02-reflection.md covered the single session Fri 10-02 — and no 10-05 reflection was filed, so this period is two sessions: Mon 10-05 and Tue 10-06. Three trades: both stacks fired on 10-05 (MNEME Window C, TRACE Window A — a same-day co-fire, which under the desk's Pooled Validation rule counts as one clustered observation), and MNEME fired on 10-06 with TRACE gate-blocked. So 3 trades = 2 independent clustered observations. GHOST remains frozen (Phase 2, Decision D2) — no reflection.
Pipeline note (state it plainly): this reflection is written as a backfill — the 10-05 and 10-06 EOD reflection slots did not run (a firm-level auth outage blocked the reflection cron across 10-05→10-07), so both sessions are covered here in one desk artifact. Every input (both days' plans, both days' performance dailies, trades.csv, runner health, calibration rows) is present and used; both 10-05 and 10-06 are planned and scored in intelligence/plan-calibration.csv, so there is no plan or forecast gap in this window.
The desk made money over the two sessions — and made it in one day. Desk net this period: +$427.62 on 3 trades (MNEME +$77.76 on 2; TRACE +$349.86 on 1). The 10-05 double-win — MNEME's Window C (+$95.04) and TRACE's Window A (+$349.86) on a low-volatility, tech-led drift to record closes — carries essentially the whole period. The 10-06 session added MNEME's Window B fast stop (−$17.28) and TRACE's stand-down. Nothing about the period was dramatic: two orderly low-vol up-drifts, one clean co-fire win, one fast small stop, and one wide similarity block.

10-05 was the charter's "friendly" side and both stacks won it. Low-volatility, tech-led drift higher; SPY closed 774.97 (+0.69% vs the 769.65 prior close, 0.95× ATR), QQQ 756.09 (+0.88%, 0.79× ATR), VIX 15.52 LOW (+0.21), final hour essentially flat (−0.12% SPY). The 10:00 ISM Services print eased to 54.9 (from 55.7; prices 74.0 accelerated) but the market did not convert the prices pressure into a risk-off move; S&P Global Services Final printed 58.8, above flash. TRACE's Window A fire (entry 508.37 @10:00 → 510.75 @12:00, vote 80.0%, max_sim 0.8872) was its first A win in weeks and the period's largest single trade. MNEME's Window C fire (entry 774.77 @14:00 → 775.76 @15:30, vote 73.3%, max_sim 0.7208) won +$95.04. Worth recording honestly: the plan's 10-05 asymmetry warning — that the ISM print landed exactly on Window A's entry (10:00), TRACE's worst live window — did not bite; A won. A named concern that does not materialize is not a miss, and I will not retrofit a story onto it.
10-06 was a low-vol drift to record closes, and the two stacks split. SPY closed 779.10 (+0.53% vs the 774.97 prior close, 0.96× ATR), QQQ 759.62 (+0.47%, 0.71× ATR), VIX 15.01 LOW (−0.51); the 8:30 trade balance widened to −$105.6B (imports at a record) and was absorbed, GDPNow steady at 3.7%. The EOD flags a breadth divergence (record headline closes on nearly balanced Nasdaq advancers/decliners) and grades the morning narrative STUCK. MNEME fired Window B (entry 781.12 @12:00, vote 73.3%, max_sim 0.6092) and stopped out fifteen minutes later at 780.94 (−$17.28) — a fast, small stop on a tape that closed up +0.53%. TRACE did not fire: the vote bound Window A structurally (40%, 22 points short), while Windows B and C cleared the vote decisively (70%, 80%) but failed the similarity floor at 0.508 and 0.517 vs 0.60 — two same-shaped similarity binds in one session. That is the period's only near-miss row.
The single most important honest statement about this period: MNEME's gate did not bind at all, so the window carries no calibration signal from MNEME. MNEME cleared the vote at exactly 73.3% on both fires and cleared similarity on both (0.7208, 0.6092 vs the 0.50 floor). There is no blocked=knn_gate row for MNEME anywhere in the period — the gate never grazed. Per the desk's 2026-10-02 peer-review dispositions (both the Delta→Mneme and Echo→Mneme critiques were acted), I will not treat "fired both planned sessions" or the identical 73.3% vote as conditioning/streak evidence; the forecast-evidence firewall (filed as an edge-candidate 2026-10-02) exists precisely to stop that framing. The realized fire rate is descriptive only.
Two live threads move. MNEME's Window C gained its 10-05 win — 5W/5L on 10 fires, sub-book PF ≈1.45 — a wide clear (73.3% / 0.7208) that won, the healthy mirror of the 10-01 clear-and-lose; the flagged window is unchanged in character (mixed live record, holdout PF 1.25). MNEME's Window B fired 10-06 and lost fast — 4W/5L on 9 fires, PF ≈1.25, materially weaker live than its 3.76 holdout PF, a new datum carried below. TRACE's DEGRADED clock moved for the first time in weeks: the 10-05 A win lifted SPRT from LLR −2.700 / 0.245 from DEGRADED to −1.929 / 1.016 (n=15, W3/L12) — the buffer's first material widening since it froze. Boundary not crossed; the 09-18 desk-PM-review / TEMPER-within-5 protocol is not re-triggered.
Forecast/calibration, stated with the caveats it needs. Both sessions are scored. The desk printed mneme 0.40 / trace 0.35, all long, low, at the measured pooled eligible-fire base rate — not a hedge, and not a per-stack spread beyond the gate-strictness discount (that item was withdrawn 09-25 and is not re-filed). Realized: three of four member-days fired —
The calibration read the orchestrator's framing points at: MNEME's 0.40 was the rewarded forecast of the window — it priced a trade and one fired (and the long direction resolved up) — while TRACE's 0.35 no-trade call took the mild penalty (a sub-1.0 trade forecast that the gate refused). Note two honestities: (1) TRACE's 0.1225 is the numerically smaller Brier, which is the arithmetic of a realized 0 against a 0.35 forecast, not a better forecast — the comparison across members is not apples-to-apples because the outcomes differ (one traded, one did not); and (2) MNEME's Brier 0.36 despite a winning direction is a reminder that the trade itself lost — the forecast graded the market direction, not the entry/exit. The descriptive gap worth one line: the desk forecast 0.35–0.45 and realized 3-of-4 fires; that is under-forecasting the fire rate, but it is N=4 member-days / 2 sessions, a fire-rate observation (firewall territory), and it changes nothing — recorded, not acted on, deliberately not used to re-tune p_trade.
The desk's own baseline monitor, restated stack-by-stack as the 2026-10-02 peer review requires. MNEME's real book is +$1,032.40 against a baseline arm of +$1,947.37 (53 trades) → gap −$914.97 (unchanged from the 10-06 plan's pre-market figure, because both the real and baseline arms took the same −$17.28 Window B trade on 10-06). TRACE's real book is −$38.37 against a baseline arm of +$1,601.94 (42 trades) → gap −$1,640.31. Combined ≈ −$2,555.28 on 44 real trades vs 95 baseline trades. Per the 10-02 peer disposition, a cumulative dollar gap across unequal trade counts is descriptive, not evidence that either KNN stack has deteriorated; the escalation test is each stack's baseline rolling PF vs its own rolling PF at two consecutive monthly checkpoints, and this is not a checkpoint. Nothing is filed; it is named for the October Desk Review.
Runner health CLEAR both sessions — runner-health-2026-10-05.md and runner-health-2026-10-06.md each grade all ten agents ok, including both members. No peer-review file has landed since the 2026-10-02 peer review; its dispositions are in force and applied above.

The load-bearing answer to "regime or calibration?" is therefore neither a graze-shaped calibration nor a setup-absent regime — it is "the gate cleared and delivered its ordinary outcome distribution," and the near-miss data is empty.p_trade 0.40 (low) → traded → Brier 0.36, direction hit; 10-06 p_trade 0.40 (low) → traded → Brier 0.36, direction hit. SPRT CONSISTENT-WITH-BACKTEST, sticky, LLR +4.901 (n=29, WR 48.3%, +$1,032.40) — moved +4.532 → +5.171 → +4.901 across the two fires, nowhere near the ±2.944 boundaries.Verdict: NOT-BINDING / REGIME-NEUTRAL — the gate cleared both sessions with wide margins, so there is no threshold in play and no near-miss data; the period delivers no calibration evidence. The live threads are TWO window observations: Window B (4W/5L, PF ≈1.25) cleared and stopped in 15 minutes on 10-06, live-well-below its 3.76 holdout; Window C (5W/5L, PF ≈1.45) cleared wide and won on 10-05. No gate change; the 09-29 similarity graze and the N=4 thin-clear item are carried unchanged.
max_sim ≥ 0.60), binding in TWO windows on 10-06 (B and C) with the vote cleared. The count is REGIME-leaning (wide misses, structural gap, not a marginal graze) but is named as an accumulating item for the October review — no tweak.blocked=knn_gate A:vote=40%/62% sim=0.902/0.6 B:vote=70%/62% sim=0.508/0.6 C:vote=80%/62% sim=0.517/0.6. The vote bound Window A structurally (40%, 22 points short). Windows B and C cleared the vote decisively (70%, 80%) but failed similarity at 0.508 and 0.517 vs the 0.60 floor — misses of 0.092 and 0.083. These are not marginal grazes.max_sim ~0.1 below the floor)," i.e. a structural gap in the pattern library on those sessions, not a threshold being repeatedly grazed at the margin. That reads REGIME. But the count clears the desk's N≥3 bar, so it is carried as an accumulating item for the October Desk Review / a TEMPER conversation, explicitly not a change to max_sim ≥ 0.60, K=10, or the window structure. No unilateral tweak.max_sim ≥ 0.60.p_trade 0.35 (low) → traded → Brier 0.4225, direction hit; 10-06 p_trade 0.35 (low) → no trade → Brier 0.1225. The one entry strike held again — the pre-market cross-asset read was recorded and not priced.Verdict: REGIME-LEANING, with a named count — the similarity floor bound on 10-06 in two windows (B 0.508, C 0.517 vs 0.60), misses of ~0.08–0.09, and the recent vote-cleared similarity binds cluster ~0.1 below the floor (structural gap, not a marginal graze). N=5 across the book makes it worth the October review, but the action is a named item and a TEMPER conversation, never a threshold change. The DEGRADED clock widened on the 10-05 A win (0.245 → 1.016), not crossed, protocol not re-triggered. Window A gained a winning counter-instance.

Narrative finding — a profitable, base-rate two sessions whose whole P&L sits in one day, and whose content is window observations plus one gate finding. The 10-05 double-win (+$445 combined) is the period; 10-06 was a fast small stop and a stand-down. Neither member had a threshold repeatedly grazed: MNEME's gate never bound (no near-miss row at all), and TRACE's similarity floor bound wide on 10-06 in two windows (B 0.508, C 0.517 vs 0.60), the period's only near-miss and a structural-gap shape, not a marginal graze.
Shared-session near-miss check (Family 5, same-mechanism): on 10-06 both stacks ran the same Window B query — MNEME's SPY B lookup cleared similarity at 0.6092 and fired; TRACE's DIA B lookup landed at 0.508, below its stricter 0.60 floor, and did not. Both stacks' Window B cleared the vote that session (MNEME 73.3%, TRACE 70%), so the vote was a shared non-binder and similarity was the sole separator between the two engines on 10-06's B window. That is the desk-level value-add no single-member reflection can see: the session's mid-day window was marginal-to-decent for the SPY pattern library and marginal-fail for the DIA library, and the two engines diverged on the neighbour test, not the vote.
The two live threads are Window C (MNEME 5W/5L, PF ≈1.45, wide-clear win on 10-05; TRACE 0W/2L on a 2-fire sample, not touched this period) and TRACE's DEGRADED clock (widened 0.245 → 1.016 on the A win, not crossed). The forecast layer under-printed the fire rate (0.35–0.40 forecast vs 3-of-4 realized) but that is N=4, descriptive only, and the forecast-evidence firewall forbids conditioning p_trade on it. The baseline gap, restated stack-by-stack per the 10-02 peer disposition, is ≈ −$2,555.28 — descriptive, named for October, nothing filed. Combined desk cumulative: 44 trades, +$994.03. Runner health CLEAR both sessions.
data-infra/regime/current.json (read 2026-10-06, status: ok): as_of 2026-09-22 — SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). The file now lags the live tape by ten completed sessions (09-23 through 10-06 are not folded in) — lagging, not unavailable.
Live tape against it (10-06 close): VIX 15.01 LOW (<18), −0.51 from 15.52 — still 2.99 points inside the >18 trigger; and SPY closed 779.10 (+0.53% vs the 774.97 prior close), +1.75% above its SMA20 (765.72) — the shelf is support again, not overhead. QQQ 759.62, comfortably above its SMA20 (731.68). Honest limitation, unchanged: the charter's shared tag is spy_vs_sma50, and the EOD price block carries SMA20, not SMA50 — so I name the SMA20 shelf as the closest available proxy and say so rather than asserting a 50-day reading I do not have.
Charter status: DRAFT — not ratified (desks/house-mneme/CLAUDE.md). The consistency verdict below is against draft text, not a ratified constraint. My persistence rule counts a shift persistent only when at least one risk-off tag — SPY below 50d / drawdown ≥2% / VIX >18 — holds 5 consecutive sessions. No risk-off tag is active. But I state the peer-review-corrected version plainly (the 2026-10-02 dispositions adopted firm-wide): I cannot resolve five consecutive sessions from a feed that stops on 09-22, so persistence is INDETERMINATE — not passed, not clean. An unobserved regime state is unknown, not benign.
Draft-charter consistency: consistent on substance — both sessions are on the orderly, LOW-VIX side, and the desk behaved as the charter says. Item 1 is the side we are on ("orderly, trending-up or range-bound tape with LOW VIX"): SPY 0.95× / 0.96× ATR, QQQ 0.79× / 0.71× ATR, VIX 15.52 → 15.01 LOW; both members were live and eligible both sessions; combined exposure across the period was three intraday longs, three exits, no short leg, no overnight, flat at every close. The one honest positive: both stacks won on 10-05, the desk's most-traded "friendly" side. The one honest negative: the 10-06 Window B long stopped fifteen minutes after entry on a tape that closed up — the fast, small stop the live book has mostly produced this quarter. Watch and report only — a persistent shift goes to Desk Review as a recalibration / sit-out / new-mechanism proposal; I never change posture on a regime signal myself.
Own charter monitor, named as required, and restated stack-by-stack (per the 10-02 peer disposition): MNEME baseline 53 tr / +$1,947.37 vs real +$1,032.40 → gap −$914.97; TRACE baseline 42 tr / +$1,601.94 vs real −$38.37 → gap −$1,640.31; combined ≈ −$2,555.28. The pre-registered escalation requires each stack's baseline to match or exceed its own rolling PF at two consecutive monthly checkpoints; the September Desk Review (window through 09-05) did not escalate and this is not a second checkpoint — named for the October review, nothing filed. Gate-clear rate and the two rolling-PF windows (MNEME 15-trade ≈1.58; TRACE 20-trade) are quiet.
