Desk Plan — House Delta — 2026-10-02

Briefing reference: /Users/dadbot/Desktop/ClaudeBod/projects/dadbrain/Analysis/briefings/2026-10-02-pm.md PM: DELTA (independent read of my own desk — D3 superseded 2026-09-23; this is House Delta's own opinion, not a blend)

Regime Watch

data-infra/regime/current.json (read 2026-10-02, status: ok): as_of 2026-09-22 — SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). The file now lags the live tape by eight sessions (09-23, 09-24, 09-25, 09-28, 09-29, 09-30, 10-01 and today are not reflected). It is a dated read, not a stale-missing one — I name it as behind the tape rather than writing unavailable, the convention my last seven plans used.

Consistency with House Delta's ## Regime Charter (desks/house-delta/CLAUDE.md, header still DRAFT — not ratified): consistent; no non-baseline tag is active. Walking the charter's own indicator list (item 5) against the file and today's live tape: spy_drawdown ≥ 5% — no (<2% at the file's read; the recent tape does not approach it); vix_regime MID or HIGH — no (file 14.21 and today's live 15.97 both sit inside LOW (<18)); spy_vs_sma50 below 50d — unmeasured: the file's dated tag says above 50d (as of 09-22), and today's briefing carries SPY at 764.10 against SMA20 765.01 (SPY marginally below its SMA20) but no current SMA50 level, so proximity to that tag is unmeasured, not "close". Today the plan changes no posture: long-only, intraday, flat by 15:30, one position — and today no posture is expressed at all, because the session is a hard skip.

One reading worth naming precisely, not a shift: VIX at 15.97 (−0.42 vs prior close 16.39) remains deep inside LOW (<18) — 14.03 points below my 30 hard skip, and inside LOW (<18), my best-backtested LONG bucket (own tabulation: <18 PF 2.22, n=62; 18–28 PF 1.62). A tag change needs the same non-baseline tag for 5 consecutive sessions; the tag is still baseline.

Own-desk charter watches: rolling 6-month PF reads 1.648, alert OFF — carried as the demonstrated instrument finding (a fixed trailing-180d window holding the whole book is cumulative PF under another name; the on/off state is one trade's gross P&L against a fixed loss base); no escalation filed on the OFF print. Per-pair PF: AMD→TSM n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346 (above 1.0 for the first time, no recovery declared), NVDA→ASML 2W/0L, +$264.42 (unseen since 08-03). Watch and report only — a persistent shift becomes a Desk Review proposal (recalibration / sit-out / new-mechanism), never an automatic change, and I touch no gate.

Shared Market Read

  • Event risk today: HIGH (briefing rating) — and it is a Tier-1 calendar day: the September Employment Situation (NFP) releases at 8:30 AM ET. This is one of my four hard skips (FOMC, CPI, NFP, PCE) — the deterministic calendar rule closes my session before any signal logic runs. Firm-wide trade status NO-GO on the same rule; the market is open, this is not a holiday. Consensus +90K vs prior +162K, unemployment 4.1%, AHE +0.3% MoM; a material surprise can reprice the rates path fast. The 8:30 block is the dominant catalyst; 10:00 Factory Orders and Dallas Fed President Logan add a second event window later in the morning. Next hard skips: CPI Oct 14, FOMC Oct 28 (FOMC Minutes Oct 7 is an informational window, not a hard skip).
  • Session character expected: news-driven and mixed — a clear event-driven pause into the 8:30 print, then price discovery. Overnight the tape was mixed-to-cautiously constructive after volatile global bond/FX trading and easing Treasury yields and oil, but positioning is cautious ahead of the labor report and the briefing explicitly warns that pre-report positioning can reverse quickly and that post-release price discovery may delay clean opening-range structure. The reaction depends on the combination of payrolls, unemployment and wages, not the headline alone.
  • VIX regime: 15.97 LOW (<18) — ~14 points below my 30 skip. LOW is my best backtest bucket and the dispersion condition my mechanism needs; it carries no direction. Not near a tag change.
  • Key levels (index context only — I do not trade the indices): SPY prior close 764.10, prior-day range 758.82 – 765.63, SMA20 765.01 (SPY marginally below its SMA20), ATR(14) 6.95; QQQ prior close 742.02, prior-day range 736.25 – 744.65, SMA20 726.18 (QQQ well above), ATR(14) 9.67. The two-tier picture holds: QQQ constructive, SPY marginal. A post-release move beyond roughly ±0.5% (SPY ~3.8 pts = 0.55× ATR; QQQ ~3.7 pts = 0.38× ATR) would be a genuine repricing rather than noise.
  • Macro backdrop: the market is pricing a September labor print against elevated long-end yields, easing-but-sensitive oil/Middle East supply risk and French fiscal concerns — the immediate test of the Fed-policy repricing after several sessions of rates volatility, and the last Tier-1 print before the October CPI.
  • Semiconductor-complex context (the desk's complex, read as context only): the briefing lists MU strong on AI-memory demand with chips and mega-cap names among the pre-market leaders — a complex-wide bid into the print. This is the shape that fired three live wins on 09-21/09-22/09-24, and it is exactly the shape whose post-NFP behaviour today's structural question is meant to sample (below). It is not a trade input: the session is closed to me by rule.
  • Documented data-source gap — this desk's complex is not priced by either firm input. The briefing is index-level (SPY/QQQ/VIX only) and carries no instrument-level print for NVDA, ASML, AMD or TSM; the watchlist's named-mover snapshot is thin/unverified and lists no ASML/AMD/TSM/NVDA line. No pre-market level is adopted for any leg, and no gap is priced off these — my signal is measured 09:30 → 09:55 off the cash open, so a prior close only frames a gap, and today no gap is tradeable regardless.

DELTA — Lead-Lag Pairs (NVDA→ASML, AMD→TSM), LONG-only

Call: p_trade 0.00, direction none, conviction high. Setup present no — the session is a hard skip, and this is a rule, not a forecast.

My signal is a leader's first-hour return off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, versus ±1.5%: NVDA ≥ +1.5% → buy ASML at the 10:00 bar (primary, edge-carrying cell, live 2W/0L +$264.42, dormant since 08-03 — ~8 weeks), AMD ≥ +1.5% → buy TSM at the 10:00 bar (secondary, n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346). A leader ≤ −1.5% is my disabled-SHORT branch (ENABLE_SHORT = False) — no trade by rule. Today none of that runs: the September Employment Situation (NFP) at 8:30 AM ET is one of my four hard skips, so paper_trade.py will log no_trade:hard_event:NFP and no signal is evaluated. p_trade 0.00 is a structural certainty, not a market read, and it is the one honest number for a day the rule closes. direction: none because there is no first trade to lean; conviction: high because the rule is deterministic — a hard skip is the highest-confidence no-trade state the stack has, and pricing anything above 0.00 here would be a forecast against my own gate.

Why 0.00, stated against my own bucket arithmetic. intelligence/plan-calibration.csv, my rows, as of today (53 scored days, 9 fires, unconditional realized fire rate 0.170, mean forecast ~0.175):

p_trade bucketscored plan daysfiresrealized fire rate
0.00–0.101300.000
0.12–0.151640.250
0.18–0.251320.154
0.30+1130.273
all5390.170

The 0.00–0.10 bucket is 13 days, 0 fires, realized 0.000 — and the five sessions that sit in it as hard skips (07-14 CPI, 08-12 CPI, 08-26 PCE, 09-04 NFP, 09-30 PCE) never fired, exactly as the rule guarantees; today is the sixth. 0.00 is the only number consistent with that record. I am not pricing a hard skip at 0.02 or 0.05 to "leave room": there is no tape state, no pre-open signal, and no leader impulse that can produce a trade today, because the gate fires before the signal is read.

Sizing vs. event risk: not applicable — no trade, no sizing. The standard is 0.75% single-position risk, one position at a time, and nothing is adjusted because nothing is taken. There is no thin-tape size-down to invent and no headline buffer to add: on an NFP day my exposure is structurally zero, which is precisely the protection the hard skip exists to provide — the 8:30 print and its rates aftershock land entirely outside any position of mine.

Session-character fit: incompatible by rule. My mechanism needs a large idiosyncratic first-hour leader impulse that the laggard has not yet followed. An NFP morning is exactly the tape where a semiconductor "impulse" is most likely to be macro beta — a whole-complex repricing on the payrolls/wages surprise rather than a design→manufacturer cascade — which is the structural reason the skip exists (macro events can break the lead-lag transmission, TEMPER's 2026-06-24 clearance language). The complex-wide bid the briefing names (MU/AI-memory leadership) makes this sharper, not weaker: if a leader clears ±1.5% today, the clear is suspect by construction, because the leader-vs-basket residual — the discriminator that decides whether a clear is idiosyncratic — is most likely to read as one-factor macro on a payrolls morning. The skip sidesteps that question entirely.

Key levels (mine only): the only load-bearing numbers are each leader's first-hour return off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, versus ±1.5% — NVDA ≥ +1.5% → buy ASML (primary, edge-carrying, live 2W/0L +$264.42 — unseen since 2026-08-03, ~8 weeks); AMD ≥ +1.5% → buy TSM (secondary, n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346). None of them is a trade input today. Index gap-framing only: SPY 758.82 / 765.63 (range), SMA20 765.01, ATR 6.95; QQQ 736.25 / 744.65 (range), SMA20 726.18, ATR 9.67. Carried data gap: the non-firing pair's first-hour value is still unrecorded on traded days, and on hard-skip days no leader value is recorded at all (the hard_event rows carry empty leader_return_pct) — which is the exact measurement today's structural question needs, and I cannot obtain it from the pipeline.

Invalidation / no-trade reasons (all binding today):

  1. Hard skip NFP — TODAY. This is the operative one. no_trade:hard_event:NFP by rule; the session is closed to me before any signal logic. No size, no buffer, no exception.
  2. Any intraday VIX ≥ 30 would independently close consideration (15.97 now, ~14 points away) — moot behind the calendar skip.
  3. Leaders opening down ≥1.5% = the disabled-SHORT branch → no trade by rule (the modal down-tape outcome) — also moot today, but it is the branch the post-release tape would land in if NFP prints hot and semis sell off.
  4. CPI Oct 14 and FOMC Oct 28 are the next hard skips; FOMC Minutes Oct 7 is an informational window only. My next possible live session is Monday Oct 5 — the first of the sessions after the print.

The structural question I am watching post-release (the point of today)

Today is not filler: it is a free, live observation of the open item TEMPER flagged at my 2026-06-24 clearance and that I have never run — the event-day diagnostic (re-run with FOMC/CPI/NFP/PCE skips disabled) to confirm the skip is a defensible protection rather than a missed-opportunity filter. Every hard-skip session is a natural experiment I currently throw away: the rule closes the session, and the pipeline records no leader value, so I never learn whether an NFP-day cascade was there to be traded.

The specific question: does today's post-NFP first hour produce a ≥1.5% idiosyncratic semiconductor leader impulse — a cascade my mechanism would have taken — or is the post-release tape a one-factor macro move with no leader-specific content? The briefing's own semis context (MU/AI-memory strength, chips among pre-market leaders) makes this a live question today rather than a hypothetical one. I will read and record NVDA's and AMD's first-hour returns off the 09:30 print at 09:55 (by hand — the pipeline will not, on a skip day), and note whether any clear is leader-specific or basket-wide. One observation is not evidence to change the skip (my own N≥3 discipline); it is a row of the event-day diagnostic's data, to be accumulated across PCE/CPI/NFP/FOMC days until the question is decidable. No gate is touched, and no proposal is filed off today.

Desk book state (carries forward, unchanged by today's plan). Cumulative +$566.45 across 13 LONG trades, 7W/6L, WR 53.8%, gross PF 1.648; SPRT n=13, LLR +0.976, CONTINUE (+1.969 to CONSISTENT-WITH-BACKTEST, −3.920 to DEGRADED). NVDA→ASML 2W/0L, +$264.42 — the edge-carrying cell, starved ~8 weeks (unseen since 08-03), regime-shaped, not a gate problem (VIX < 18 is my best bucket and inside it the tape has been quiet). AMD→TSM n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346 — above 1.0 for the first time on three consecutive wins, no recovery declared (one of the three, 09-22, is measured sector beta); the 09-05 stop-calibration diagnostic read NO and remains pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review. Rolling 6-month PF 1.648, alert OFF (instrument artifact, above). SHORT re-enablement rejected 2026-07-15 — live gate stands; the governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) is at n=13, 17 trades from even being decidable. Stand-down argument live and provisional; withdrawal needs AMD→TSM PF > 1.0 at n ≈ 15+ (now n=11). Most recent live session: 10-01 no_signal (AMD first-hour −0.56%, NVDA +0.39%) — a quiet tape, no leader impulse; 09-30 was a PCE hard skip (no trade by rule).

Operational item (desk-top, carried): runner-health-2026-09-25 recorded delta: completed, daily artifact present, state ok — clean sessions after six September watchdog flags; 09-28, 09-29, 09-30 and 10-01 all produced normal rows. But the ledger-freshness post-run check is still unwired, so a clean run is being observed by me, not verified by the pipeline. Today the forecast is 0.00, so the scoring exposure is minimal: even if the watchdog trips, the EOD score for a hard skip is a mechanical no-trade and cannot be corrupted by a missing row — but I note the check remains unwired.

Plan Filed

  • Filed: 2026-10-02 04:35 PDT (pre-open)
  • Frontmatter forecasts complete for every active member: yes (delta — p_trade 0.00, direction none, conviction high)
  • Briefing event risk confirmed: HIGH — September Employment Situation (NFP) at 8:30 AM ET (Tier-1, my hard skip); consensus +90K vs prior +162K, unemployment 4.1%, AHE +0.3% MoM; 10:00 Factory Orders + Dallas Fed Logan; next hard skips CPI Oct 14, FOMC Oct 28 (FOMC Minutes Oct 7 = informational window); VIX 15.97 LOW (<18), −0.42 vs prior close 16.39; SPY 764.10 / SMA20 765.01 / ATR 6.95 / range 758.82–765.63; QQQ 742.02 / SMA20 726.18 / ATR 9.67 / range 736.25–744.65; firm-wide NO-GO; regular session (not a holiday)
  • Verdict: Setup present NO — hard skip by rule, not a forecast — p_trade 0.00, direction none, conviction high. NFP is one of my four deterministic calendar skips (FOMC/CPI/NFP/PCE), so the session is closed before signal logic; no_trade:hard_event:NFP is the expected row. No sizing, no parameter adjustment, no exposure — the skip puts the 8:30 print and its rates aftershock entirely outside any position of mine. Structural question watched post-release (the open event-day diagnostic): does the post-NFP first hour produce a ≥1.5% idiosyncratic semiconductor leader impulse — a cascade my mechanism would have taken — or a one-factor macro move with no leader-specific content? The briefing's MU/AI-memory strength makes this a live read. I will record NVDA/AMD first-hour returns by hand (the pipeline does not, on a skip day); one observation is not evidence, no gate touched, no proposal filed. Next possible live session: Monday Oct 5.
  • Documented data-source gap: the briefing is index-level only and carries no NVDA/ASML/AMD/TSM print; the watchlist mover snapshot is thin/unverified (no semis line beyond the MU narrative). No pre-market level adopted; no gap priced — the signal reads 09:30 → 09:55 off the cash open and today trades nothing regardless.

House Delta — Desk Reflection — 2026-10-02

Cadence rule: Weekly/Friday floor trigger (WS5 per-desk cadence). Today is a Friday, and the last desk reflection (2026-09-25, also a Friday) was itself scoped to a single session because 2026-09-24 had traded same-day. This one is the full arc it was designed for. Period covered: 2026-09-25 (last desk reflection) → 2026-10-02. Scheduled sessions in window: 09-28 (Mon), 09-29 (Tue), 09-30 (Wed), 10-01 (Thu), 10-02 (Fri) — five sessions.

Single-member desk — the desk reflection is DELTA's own analysis at desk scope; the per-member compatibility file (agents/delta/reflections/daily_2026-10-02.md) is written separately and remains first-person. Nothing to pool across members.

Regime watch: data-infra/regime/current.json — status: ok, as_of 2026-09-22 (now lagging the live tape by eight sessions: 09-23 through 10-02 are not reflected; I name it as behind the tape rather than writing unavailable, the convention my last seven plans used): SPY day flat (open-to-close −0.08%), above 50d, drawdown bucket <2% (−0.58%), VIX 14.21 LOW (<18). Live tape from today's EOD: VIX close 15.31 (−1.08 vs prior close 16.39, still LOW); SPY 769.65 (+0.73% vs prior close; −0.13% open-to-close; 1.20× ATR; above SMA20 764.83); QQQ 749.49 (+1.01%; −0.24% open-to-close; 1.29× ATR; above SMA20 727.77). Walking my charter's own indicator list: spy_drawdown ≥ 5% — no; vix_regime MID/HIGH — no (LOW, ~14.7 points below my 30 hard skip); spy_vs_sma50 below 50d — no (file: above 50d). No charter tag is active, and nothing is near the persistence rule's five-consecutive-session bar. The file's own read is eight sessions behind the tape and the live tape has not produced a non-baseline tag either — the regime is unchanged and baseline. Watch and report only — nothing filed, no posture change. Charter status: the header still reads DRAFT — not ratified; the desk's 09-25 peer review independently confirmed that framing ("no ratified charter yet … at most a self-check against a draft"), so today's reflection is consistent with the draft charter and makes no charter-compliance claim beyond that.

Per-Member Binding Gate Analysis (delta — the whole load)

Binding gate this period: the LONG up-branch — leader first-hour return ≥ +1.5% off the 09:30 cash open, read at 09:55, priced as the union of the two leaders. It bound across the window, and the near-miss data says REGIME — not calibration. The window delivered no repeated close miss against ±1.5%: one moderate up-miss (09-29, AMD +0.97%, 0.53pp short), one down-branch event that is untradeable by rule (09-28, AMD −2.07% → short_disabled), and one session far inside both branches (10-01). Of five sessions, two were closed by the calendar before signal logic ran (09-30 PCE, 10-02 NFP). No TEMPER conversation on the gate is available on this data and I am not starting one.

  1. The near-miss is a structural absence with one graze-adjacent reading, not a threshold being repeatedly touched. 09-29 logged AMD_TSM: blocked=leader_move val=+0.97% floor=±1.5% leader=AMD | NVDA_ASML: blocked=leader_move val=−0.45% …, and 10-01 logged AMD −0.56% / NVDA +0.39%. The single closest miss all fortnight — AMD +0.97% on 09-29, 0.53pp short — is a genuine partial move, and I will not pretend it is nothing; it is the nearest thing to the up-floor since I started the up-floor watch on 09-04. But one 0.53pp miss is N=1, not a repeated pattern, and it sits against the other four sessions' clear structural absence (a short_disabled, two hard skips, and a far-inside day). A threshold being repeatedly grazed would show several sessions clustered just under +1.5%; this window shows one. Regime, not calibration. No fix, wait.
  2. The window's sharpest structural fact: the only leader impulse that actually cleared ±1.5% was DOWNWARD — and it was untradeable by rule. On 09-28, AMD printed −2.07% across the first-hour window, clearing the −1.5% branch by 0.57pp. With ENABLE_SHORT=False (TEMPER's 2026-07-15 rejection), that is no_trade:short_disabled — not a missed LONG, a branch my mechanism is barred from taking. So over the fortnight my mechanism saw exactly one qualifying impulse, and it was on the side I cannot trade, while the LONG side produced at most a 0.53pp graze. That is the mirror of the primary-cell starvation I flagged on 09-25 and it sharpens the SHORT question — but SHORT re-enablement stays rejected and the live gate stands; I am not re-litigating a TEMPER rejection in a reflection, and the governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) is at n=13.
  3. The one thing I can fault this window is in the FORECAST layer, and it is a repeated shape now — N=2, not N=1. I over-priced two sessions: 09-25 p_trade 0.22 → no fire (Brier 0.0484) and 10-01 p_trade 0.30 → no fire (Brier 0.09, the worst number of the window). Both were priced up on a complex-wide chip bid rather than an idiosyncratic leader impulse — the exact shape my own stand-down argument classifies as beta, not edge. On 10-01 I called the MU/AI-memory bid "the shape that fired 09-21/22/24" and lifted the number to 0.30 with med conviction; the leaders then came in at AMD −0.56% / NVDA +0.39%, i.e. not even the up-branch's neighbourhood. The House Echo peer critique filed against my 09-25 reflection — that I priced beta as edge and then over-claimed a favorable no-fire Brier as validating the re-anchor — landed, and 10-01 is a second instance of the same error shape within the window. I am recording it as such and not defending it. This is not a gate finding and not grounds to touch ±1.5%; it is evidence for the standing p_trade re-anchor proposal (DC-1) already with TEMPER, which needs a "complex-wide bid / gap off prior close" term precisely so these two sessions don't both over-price.
  4. The dispersion state is the whole story of the fortnight, and the LOW VIX bucket is doing what the backtest says. Five sessions of LOW VIX (closes 14.7–16.4, regime file 14.21) and near-baseline index ranges produced no sustained ≥1.5% first-hour leader impulse on the LONG side. VIX < 18 is my best-backtested LONG bucket (own tabulation: <18 PF 2.22, n=62), so the bucket is right and the tape inside it is quiet — my mechanism needs a dispersion event, and this fortnight supplied none on the side I can trade. Regime, and the honest statement is that the setup never came close. The cell that carries my backtest edge, NVDA→ASML, has now been unseen for two months (since 08-03).
  5. Carried and unchanged, restated so nothing silently ages out: the AMD→TSM sub-book is n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346, one of its three recent wins (09-22) measured sector beta, no recovery declared; the 09-05 stop-calibration diagnostic (read NO) is still pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review. Following the 09-25 peer review's accepted disposition, the stand-down argument's withdrawal trigger is being re-registered on the leader-vs-basket residual, not the P&L ratio (PF > 1.0 at n≈15 will not withdraw it — the crossing at n=11 was partly carried by a measured-beta win). No residual was computed this window: there were no clears to discriminate (the closest leader came in 0.53pp short), so the 09-24 residual (+2.28pp vs SMH) stands as the last reading. Leader-vs-basket residual remains an ad-hoc computation pending the standing read-only deliverable. SHORT re-enablement stays rejected; live gate stands.
  6. Operational: the per-member reflection files for the intervening sessions were not separately generated (weekly cadence), so this desk reflection is the sole record of 09-28→10-02 — consistent with the cadence rule. The ledger-freshness post-run check remains unwired (a clean run is observed, not verified). The firm-wide hard-skip week (PCE Wed, NFP Fri) is why two of five sessions were closed by the calendar before any signal logic ran — that is the design working, not lost opportunity.

Open TEMPER Items (Carried Forward)

ItemStatus this period
p_trade calibration series (DELTA-owned) — DC-1 re-anchor proposalNew evidence this window, and it points the same way as the 09-25 peer critique: two over-forecasts on the complex-wide-bid shape in one fortnight (09-25 0.22 → Brier 0.0484; 10-01 0.30 → Brier 0.09, worst of the window). Vs correctly-low non-bid sessions (09-28 0.10 → 0.01; 09-29 0.12 → 0.0144) and correct hard-skip zeros (09-30, 10-02 → 0.0). The proposed re-anchor (trailing intraday ATR vs its own median, VIX bucket, and a complex-wide-bid / gap-off-prior-close term) now has a named, twice-measured failure shape to correct. Forecast methodology, never a gate change; no unilateral tweak — the re-anchor stays a TEMPER conversation.
Rolling 6-month PF monitor (binding condition #2)Unchanged — 1.648 > 1.2, alert OFF; no new trade, so no new reading. Still the demonstrated instrument artifact (the same trailing-180d window read 0.923 / 1.183 / 1.648 across 09-21/22/24). Pre-registered SPRT arbiter says CONTINUE (LLR +0.976, unchanged). No escalation filed on the OFF print.
AMD→TSM sub-book calibration (n=11, WR 45.5%, PF 1.346)Unchanged — no AMD→TSM trade this window. One of its three recent wins is measured sector beta; no recovery declared. Stop-calibration deliverable (09-05, read NO) still pending TEMPER cadence-ratification via the 2026-09 Desk Review.
Stand-down argument (complex-wide bid denies the idiosyncratic cascade) — trigger re-registrationLive and provisional; withdrawal trigger re-registered on the residual, not PF, per the accepted 09-25 peer-review disposition. Withdrawal now requires a stated minimum count of idiosyncratic clears (residual positive vs SOXX/SMH at engine fidelity) with zero cleared-but-beta wins — submitted to TEMPER as a disposition change. No new residual this window (no clears to discriminate).
LONG up-floor watch-to-escalate (09-04 flagged)One graze-adjacent reading this window: 09-29 AMD +0.97% (0.53pp short). Across the fortnight that is N=1 against the floor — the watch stays unarmed. Not a repeated close miss; no escalation.
SHORT re-enablement (REJECTED 2026-07-15; live gate stands)Unchanged. Governing path (30 LONG trades at PF ≥ 1.5) still at n=13. This window produced one short_disabled reading (09-28, AMD −2.07%) — the only ±1.5% clear of the fortnight, on the barred side. Not re-litigated here; TEMPER's ruling stands.
Event-day diagnostic (skip-disabled run)Still not performed — open, moderate priority. This window added two more skipped Tier-1 days (09-30 PCE, 10-02 NFP) with no diagnostic coverage.
Pipeline-reliability: per-agent 60s watchdog + ledger-freshness check (operational)Ledger-freshness post-run check remains unwired — the item stays open.

Reconnaissance Ledger Items

  • TEMPER conversation — p_trade methodology (DC-1). Now carries a two-part, twice-measured evidence base: six under-forecasts (early series), two complex-wide-bid over-forecasts (09-25 0.22, 10-01 0.30), and correctly-low pricing on non-bid sessions. Proposed re-anchor: trailing intraday ATR vs its own median, VIX bucket, and a complex-wide-bid / gap-off-prior-close term.
  • Leader-vs-basket residual — now a re-registered withdrawal trigger, still not a standing instrument. Its value is on traded days; this window had no clears, so it was not computed. Per the accepted 09-25 peer disposition, file it as a read-only deliverable (agents/delta/deliverable_leader_basket_residual_.py) so the discriminator is computed every session rather than ad hoc.
  • Traded-day near-miss logging gap (carried, minor) — the non-firing pair's first-hour value is still unrecorded on traded days. This window was all no-trade, so not an instance; the 09-24 instance stands as the live one.
  • Ledger-freshness post-run check — still unwired.
  • Event-day diagnostic (skip-disabled) remains a standing obligation; two more Tier-1 skips this window with no coverage.

Desk Summary for Orchestrator

House Delta: no trade all fortnight — five sessions (09-28→10-02), $0.00. Binding gate: the LONG up-branch — REGIME, not calibration. The near-miss data shows structural absence with one graze-adjacent reading: 09-29 AMD +0.97% (0.53pp short of +1.5%) is the only partial move toward the floor; 10-01 was far inside both branches (AMD −0.56% / NVDA +0.39%); 09-30 (PCE) and 10-02 (NFP) were closed by the calendar before signal logic ran; and the window's only leader impulse that actually cleared ±1.5% was the down-branch — 09-28 AMD −2.07% → short_disabled, untradeable by rule. One 0.53pp miss is N=1, not a graze pattern — no TEMPER conversation on the gate, no unilateral tweak, wait. Cumulative unchanged +$566.45 (n=13, WR 53.8%, gross PF 1.648); SPRT LLR +0.976, CONTINUE (unchanged, as no-trade sessions should be). The honest self-critique is in the forecast layer and is now a twice-measured shape: I over-priced two complex-wide-bid sessions this fortnight — 09-25 0.22 (Brier 0.0484) and 10-01 0.30 (Brier 0.09, worst of the window) — pricing beta as edge, exactly the pattern the 09-25 House Echo peer critique flagged and which I accepted; both feed the standing DC-1 p_trade re-anchor proposal (needs a complex-wide-bid / gap-off-prior-close term), never a gate change. No recovery declared on AMD→TSM (n=11, PF 1.346); NVDA→ASML — my edge-carrying cell — still unseen since 08-03 (two months) in the quiet LOW-VIX tape. Operational: p_trade forecast layer is the live TEMPER thread; ledger-freshness check still unwired; event-day diagnostic still outstanding.

Reflection Filed

  • Filed: 2026-10-02 EOD (desk cadence — Friday weekly floor)
  • Next session (Mon 10-05): no verified Tier-1 on the local calendar for Monday (EOD could not establish a fully verified Monday macro calendar); next verified Tier-1 is FOMC Minutes, Oct 7 at 2:00 PM ET (an informational event window, not a hard skip), then CPI Oct 14, FOMC Oct 28. Carry-in threads: the September NFP downside surprise (+29K vs +90K consensus; unemployment 4.2%; AHE +0.1%; July/August revisions −60K) and the rates/relief channel it triggered, with the market closing higher vs prior but below the open (session character ranging/news-driven, morning narrative grade STUCK); the unresolved Iran/Hormuz clock; the semiconductor complexity (MU/AI-memory leadership) that has been the standing bid shape; and the AMD→TSM residual trigger re-registration. Watching: (a) whether the dispersion state holds — a sixth and seventh consecutive session of no ≥1.5% LONG leader impulse keeps this regime and I wait; (b) the p_trade number — I will price Monday off the dispersion state and hold it below the realized rate of its bucket unless the pre-open state supplies a dispersion reason to go higher, and I will not lift it on a complex-wide bid alone, because both of this window's over-forecasts came from doing exactly that; (c) NVDA→ASML's continued starvation (unseen since 08-03) — not a gate problem; (d) whether the new residual-based withdrawal trigger for the stand-down argument gets its first real reading, which requires a clear to discriminate.
